3. General Information on Data Processing
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations as well as this Privacy Policy.
This career website can generally be used without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address, or email address) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis within the scope of an application. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent, unless a legal basis or data processing agreement provides for this.
This website uses no cookies, uses no web tracking (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel), and does not integrate any social media plugins or map services.
4. Hosting and Server Log Files
This website is hosted on a server of our technical service provider 1&1 IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exists with the provider.
When the website is accessed, technical information is automatically recorded in server log files that your browser transmits to the server:
- Anonymized IP address of the accessing device
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the file retrieved
- Amount of data transferred
- Browser type, browser version, and operating system used
- Referrer URL (previously visited page)
The processing serves to ensure a smooth connection setup, comfortable use of our website, evaluation of system security and stability, and other administrative purposes. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). The log files are automatically deleted after 14 days, unless security-relevant incidents require longer storage.
5. Fonts (Google Fonts)
This site uses the Google Fonts service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to ensure a consistent presentation of fonts. When a page is accessed, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display text correctly. In doing so, a connection is established to Google's servers, whereby Google becomes aware that our website was accessed via your IP address.
This use takes place in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our content (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Further information can be found in Google's privacy notices: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy.
6. Application Form
If you submit your application to us via our online application form, we process the personal data you provide (first and last name, email address, phone number, desired position, message, and any uploaded resume or application documents) exclusively for the purpose of conducting the application process and establishing an employment relationship.
Legal basis: Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR in conjunction with § 26 Para. 1 BDSG (processing for the purpose of carrying out or initiating the employment relationship) as well as Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent) for any further storage in an applicant pool.
Recipients: Within our company, only persons entrusted with the application process (in particular the HR department and the respective specialist department) have access to your data. Your data is not transferred to third parties outside the EU/EEA. The technical transmission of form data is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) via a service provider we have commissioned, which operates exclusively on servers within the European Union. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exists with this service provider.
Storage period: Unless you are hired, your application documents will be deleted no later than six months after the application process has been completed, provided no other legitimate interests of the controller preclude deletion (e.g. the burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act). If you are hired, the data required for the employment relationship will be transferred to your personnel file.
Providing your data is voluntary. However, an application is not possible without submitting the information marked as required.
7. Data Security
We use technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or against access by unauthorized persons. In particular, the transmission of your data to and from our website is continuously encrypted using SSL/TLS (recognizable by "https://" in the address bar and the lock symbol in your browser).
